Point break: At what age does ageing matter?

Anne Hathaway
According to a study, a woman's battle against the ravages of time begins before she's 30.

How to age gracefully
After spending their teens trying to look older than they really are, women finally become happy with their appearance in their early twenties. But at 29 - the same age as Miranda Kerr, Kate Bosworth, Emily Blunt and the beloved Pippa Middleton - that all changes and they become more concerned about trying to look young again amid fears of wrinkles, sagging breasts, tuck shop arms and crow's feet.

A third of women are worried their bottom will 'head south', while 29 per cent want to avoid a wrinkly cleavage at all costs. The poll of 2,000 women by Superdrug shows other top ageing concerns include facial hair, a middle-aged spread and thread veins. Double chins, age spots, wrinkly hands and thinning lips also worry women in their twenties. The average woman reckons she spotted her first wrinkle at 29 and now spends up to 12 minutes a day fighting the signs of ageing by applying creams and make-up.

What do you think? At what age does getting old begin to matter even for guys? Let’s know what you think
