Raving: Tammy Estep, 36, was charged with attempted murder after police said she had stabbed her husband in the stomach because he is 'Satan's spawn'
A South Carolina woman was arrested after allegedly stabbing her husband in the stomach because he was 'Satan spawn,' according to police. Tammy Estep, 36, was taken into custody at her home in Little River on Friday and charged with attempted murder of her 46-year-old husband.
According to a police report, Estep told officers who responded for a
domestic dispute, 'Jesus and Mary told me to kill him because he is Satan's
spawn!' The 36-year-old mother of two
added that she 'was sent to save the world!' The Smoking Gun reported. Estep's
son told the officers that his mother had stabbed his father, according to Carolina Live.
The incident took place at around 6.45am at the couple's home on Red
Tulip Lane in the presence of the two kids, one of them 10 years old. By the
time officers arrived, the victim left with one of his kids to drive himself to
Seacoast McLeaod Hospital for treatment. The 46-year-old man was later
transferred to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, where he underwent surgery
for a severe laceration, according to Myrtle Beach Online.
